Architecture could only be exhibited through its scaled representations. The actual spatial experience created by architects is experienced in the buildings themselves. To display architecture in a museum on a one-to-one scale is only made possible with the architectural installations, which are the means of exhibiting three-dimensional work within the physical limits of the museums. The museum space is also where the architectural and artistic practices intersect. Beyond the perpetual discussions on the -function as the aspect of architecture which deviates it from art, installations enable architects to explore the processes of artistic practice.
