Numb to his own emotions, he sets out on a quest to reinvent himself, pursuing Molly, a twenty-two-year-old waitress at a local diner. Too unsure of himself to take the direct approach, he decides instead to transform the life of her beleaguered co-worker Lucille, hoping that his escalating good deeds will win him Molly's heart.
